Maroff Anchor Handling and Towing Equipment is design knowing the extremeness of offshore condition, putting emphasis on giving reliable towing and anchor handling operation. The Equipment is design structurally stronger than wire rope for robustness.  The solenoid valves is fitted with cover and wraping up to protect against corrosion and water ingress. 

 

All equipment is capable of two control station for the crew to either control locally near to the equipment, or remotely at the wheel house. The brake and clutch are fitted with end position sensor to give operator clear indication of status of the winches. Control system is inteligently interlocks to prevent operator from fault operation. Load and Monitoring System are available to be fitted on Towing Winch to give real time load readout to crew during towing operation for safe operation.

 

The Equipment is design with single button emergency quick relase (EQR) to ensure operation safety, once EQR button is depress, the winch is programmed to automatically disengage the drive train from the drum and free fall the rope in any state. The Sharkjaw are able to perform quick release under load. Accumulator is fitted on the winch and Sharkjaw to allow quick release operation during power outage. Pressure sensor are fitted on accumulators to enqure the accumulators are always fully charged. 

 

The hydraulic system fitted would be load sensing type which is low power consumption and also low standby pressure give lower stress on hydraulic components. Powerpacks would be fitted with complete instrucmentation such as oil temperature sensor, oil level sensor, filter clog sensor etc. giving crew complete awareness on power pack status. The Powerpacks is also fitted with seawater type oil cooler for longer operation endurance.
